This program prepares Helping Hearts At Home companions to provide respectful, professional non-medical support in clients’ homes and assisted living settings. It covers caring for the home and personal belongings, protecting privacy and dignity, communicating appropriately with clients and families, and working smoothly with other staff. Companions will learn how to maintain clear boundaries, respond to concerns professionally, and represent the agency with compassion, reliability, and respect.
